Reforestation

Reforestation

Reforestation is the process of replenishing woodlands, forests and rain forests with much-needed foliage. Although reforestation can be a difficult process, there is still time to act and restock our planet’s forests – which are depleting every day.

At the most basic level, trees produce oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide from the air we breathe. Trees provide us with the natural air filtration that we need to survive. They fight pollution and drastically impact the level of diversity and strength of precious ecosystems.

Carbon Offsets

Reforestation

Trees absorb naturally produced carbon dioxide in addition to the CO2 produced by fossil fuels. As the deforestation and destruction of large tree stands and forests continue – along with the increase in pollution and fossil fuel usage – we are in dire need of more forests.

To offset our increasing carbon load, reforestation is a powerful tool against not only the destruction of our forests, but the planet’s air as well.
